JOB SUMMARY: Software Engineering Team Lead must have strong React experience with Java for backend. You will formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Research, construct, develop, and test computer application software or systems.

2. Analyze users’ needs and design software as necessary.

3. Maintain computer applications software and systems and debug as problems arise.

4. Evaluate new and existing software to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

5. Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organization to achieve timely results.

6. Consult with customers on project status and advise customer about technical issues

7. Manage a team of software engineers on a specific project(s)

8. Develop and maintain the development project plan

9. Develop and maintain the technical specification

10. Develop and maintain the deployment plan

11. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on candidate’s experience.

12. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.

13. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

14. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

15. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

Must have 5+ years of progressive software development experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, Service API, SQL. Experience with NextJS, NodeJS/Express, NoSQL, Containerization, CI/CD, GraphQL is preferred. Must have leadership experience. 

  • Communication (oral, written and listening), interpersonal, exemplary, motivational, problem solving, troubleshooting, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to quickly attain and understand new processes with strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines, work on multiple tasks and work well under pressure. 
  • Ability to work at the highest technical level on all phases of software systems programming applications.
  • Ability to be organized, self-motivated, and work in team environment.
  • Ability to direct and motivate people; and to serve as an example to others.
  • Ability to challenge individuals to discover the root cause of an issue.
  • Ability to use hardware and software peripherals related to job responsibilities including MS Office Suites.
  • Bachelors degree OR HS Diploma and minimum of 5 years experience in related field. Master’s degree desired.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $140K to $145K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
