JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the assigned Product Practice Lead or designee, the Senior Product Developer is responsible for managing the process of developing our product and enhancing existing products to meet business channel customer expectations effectively. We are looking for an experienced data wrangler to research, develop necessary data assets, and supervise the design process. The foundation of this role necessitates strong communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within the organization. You will leverage your healthcare data analytics and technical expertise to assist with the development of new and transformative MultiPlan products in the healthcare space. Collaborate on product strategy, setting product requirements, and technical product development while consistently meeting deliverable deadlines.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand our clients' needs
*Provide the backbone of new research into product needs, such as analytical frameworks, models, and exhibits.
*Report research, metrics, and results in clear, understandable ways, such as standalone reports or continuous dashboards, for internal and external stakeholders.

*Perform research and analysis on data assets with analytic rigor and discipline to ensure highest data quality possible
*Create new, early-stage prototypes and pilots for a variety of product needs.
*Assist with product strategy and product roadmaps (internal and external).
*Work with Product teams to determine clear, comprehensive user requirements (design inputs) and product specifications and support design activities by developing prototypes.
*Work with Product teams to conduct market and competitor research for current and future products to develop user stories, technical specifications, and product descriptions.
*Track and document progress and goals across all work.
Conceive and analyze multiple alternatives to improve outcomes.

*Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
*Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):


* BS degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Information Technology, or related field (MS or MBA strongly preferred).
* Minimum 7 years' experience as a Data Wrangler, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar track, with expertise in delivering multiple successful technical data driven solutions and driving adoption and growth. Must have healthcare data experience.
* Must have extensive experience working with health insurance products, and provider analytics.
Significant experience with data wrangling and the process of transforming raw data into useable and value-generating data.
* Must have exceptional product development skills, including strong business judgment, problem solving, communication, and demonstrated leadership experience influencing cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

• Must have strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
* Must be a proactive self-starter with take ownership/roll up the sleeves attitude regarding getting the work done. This cannot be emphasized enough.
* Must have proven ability to execute strategically and tactically.
* Must be curious, analytical, detail oriented, and creative, bringing up innovative ideas for solutions while making decisions based on data analysis and facts.
* Must be able to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
* Preferred: Experience supporting virtualization environments including Tableau, as well as experience working with AWS and Jira.
* Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
* Must demonstrate a keen interest in keeping abreast of technological advances and proven success at incorporating new technology into existing systems.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $125K to $130K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
