Jr Account Payable Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: This role challenges the incumbent to continually drive organizational success through the processing of invoices and payments and will aid in the execution of other various activities amongst the department. The incumbent works under direct supervision to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent relies on previous experience and judgment to support department management in completing daily activities and projects.

DUTIES:
1. Ensure all company and accounts payable policies and procedures are consistently and appropriately applied.
2. Ensure completed W-9s are obtained for all vendor setups and/or changes as per IRS regulations.
3. Execute and monitor established departmental reporting processes to identify problems and/or errors identifying opportunities for improvement as needed.
4. Aid in the completion of processes specific to the entry and/or upload invoices into utilized systems for processing as appropriate.
5. Verify the authorization of invoices processed meet established policies and guidelines..
6. Aid in the execution of processes specific to the resolution of accounts payable issues and the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports within the department..
7. Support system and process enhancements related to Accounts Payable.
8. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
10. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

COMPENSATION: 

The salary range for this position is $17.00/hour. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Minimum HS Diploma, or GED, previous experience in a similar role/field is a plus.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
* Knowledge of accounts payable and related regulations
* Ability to adjust or alter workflow to meet deadlines
* Communication, organizational, and customer service skills
* Ability to handle confidential information
* Ability to process complex instructions and translate them into a series of problem solving steps
* Ability to operate standard office equipment
* Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Office
* Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
