Job Requirements of Accountant II:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum high school diploma plus four (4) years' of closely relevant business experience. Bachelors' degree in accounting, finance or general business administration is strongly preferred
* 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
* Knowledge of relevant computer applications and systems and ability to display applicable level of computer literacy. (Microsoft Office Suite, Great Plains, etc.)
* Interpersonal skills and team working capabilities
* Communication skills
* Ability to refine knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
* Analytical skills and ability to perform varied mathematical calculations
* Ability to use software, hardware, and peripherals related to job responsibilities
* Ability to demonstrate commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
* Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000year. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Accountant II
JOB SUMMARY:
The position performs a variety of accounting assignments specific to the support of accounting operations through effective oversight of various accounting functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Closely collaborate with to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial transactions.
2. Aid in the execution of monthly financial statement close processes.
3. Analyze and review financial statements.
4. Prepare account reconciliations for the company's entities.
5. Assist in the preparation of monthly analysis of current actual results to prior period actual results for the company and its legal entities for use in Board and Senior Management reporting and external reporting.
6. Assist in the implementation of changes in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
7. Utilize expertise to aid in the accounting, analysis of numerous legal entities.
8. Consult and liaise with operations supports and finance personnel on accounting issues.
9. Aid in the completion of special projects and special requests as required.
10. Interact with internal and external auditors, and business units as required to accomplish goals.
11. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
13. Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE:
This job works independently with moderate supervision to complete the job responsibilities. Work is often varied and complex and involves a great deal of research.
