JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for developing and enhancing analytic tools. This position is also responsible for interpreting and analyzing the Company's operations and associated data of an advanced to complex nature. This position is also responsible for analyzing and reporting accurate data and other information to higher levels as well as for serving as a resource for less experienced team members. This position will work to enable deeper insights and better decision making through the use of data analytic techniques.

 

DUTIES

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic systems.
    2. Create analytic frameworks for complex requests.
    3. Identify trends and opportunities for business growth through analysis of complex data sets.
    4. Create reports and predictive analytics utilizing data mining techniques, data analysis, and data visualization tools.
    5. Evaluate internal ecosystem to create and enhance modeling solutions.
    6. Develop and maintain ETL's for handling, processing, and cleansing data.
    7. May develop internal and/or client-facing reporting performance reporting on the business.
    8. May create geographic and disruptive analyses intended to aid the sale of new business.
    9. May analyze provider-specific proposals, client, prospect claim files for opportunity improvements for.
    10. May analyze client-specific proposals for Sales steerage including impact analysis.
    11. May analyze requests in support of Legal needs.
    12. May analyze requests supporting government adequacy.
    13. Will serve as a strategic advisor across various disciplines and departments.
    14. Provide insight to internal operations to support corporate initiatives.
    15. Present results to clients and /or the Company's Leadership team in a polished professional manner.
    16. Ability to interact, communicate, and elicit trust and credibility with all levels of the Company and external clients Completion of all tasks within department standard turnaround times as well as displaying the ability to adjust/alter schedule to meet deadlines.
    17. Ability to prioritize competing tasks based on complexity and/or urgency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and cooperative demeanor.
    18. Commit to client service excellence.
    19. Ability to handle proprietary, confidential, and restricted information in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
    20. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent works under general supervision and with discretion to complete the job responsibilities. The incumbent relies on varied knowledge gained through previous experience as well as acquiring new knowledge and mastering the usage of leading-edge analytic tools and approaches to address advanced to complex issues and assignments that usually require interpretation and ingenuity. The incumbent will display intellectual curiosity throughout data exploration. Generally, one operates with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision-making. The incumbent may also aid less experienced team members in finding solutions for complex issues. Work involves applying advanced skills using tools and systems for the position or specialization.

 

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $85-100K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, accounting, finance, economics, healthcare informatics or related field or HS Diploma and 4 years of related experience Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in data mining preferably within a healthcare environment.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
* Strong technical skills required to automate requests, create more complex queries, and make those queries run effectively.
* Problem solving, decision making, analytical, organization, mentoring and communication (written, verbal and listening) skills.
* Proven skills at a proficient level in analytic principles and concepts of statistical data analysis, modeling, mining, and visualization
* Ability to interact, communicate, and elicit trust and credibility with all levels of the Company and external clients.
* Possess a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Ability to understand the business logic behind business processes.
* Requires ability to use the entire suite of MS Office tools.
* Requires ability to use business intelligence tools related to job responsibilities, including, but not limited to, SQL Server business intelligence platform (SSIS, SSMS, SSAS, SSRS), PowerBI, Tableau, R, Python, SPSS, and SAS
* Experience using statistical computer languages (R or Python preferred) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
* Preferred knowledge of TSQL or related experience in SQL programming language
* Preferred experience with Azure Data Platform (Data Services, Synapse Analytics), Apache SparkAbility to work independently on multiple concurrent projects.
