Job Requirements of SAP Delivery Manager(remote):
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or HS Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in SAP service delivery, implementation, or support. Must have demonstrated leadership and team management abilities in a cross-functional environment.
- Proven experience managing SAP projects such as implementations support involving SAP S/4HANA (FICO, BRIM, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and SAP service management platforms.
- Required: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
- May require occasional travel to vendor sites or corporate locations.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or HS Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $160K to $180K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY:
The SAP Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the efficient, timely, and quality-driven delivery of all SAP-related services across the organization, including implementation, support, and upgrades. This position ensures alignment between SAP service delivery and the company’s strategic goals, while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction and operational excellence. This position operates with a high level of autonomy and requires strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities. The SAP Service Delivery Manager interacts with internal departments, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure SAP service excellence and alignment with business goals. The role includes managing and supporting a cross-functional team and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The incumbent has authority over SAP operations budgeting and vendor contracts, and plays a critical role in shaping the long-term SAP strategy of the organization.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end SAP service delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, support, and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Act as primary liaison between internal business units and SAP service providers, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Lead and coordinate SAP projects such as implementations, support, upgrades, integrations, and migrations to ensure they are completed on time, within scope and budget.
- Oversee incident and problem management processes to ensure prompt resolution and minimize business disruption.
- Optimize SAP solutions through automation, innovation, and the implementation of industry best practices and standards.
- Lead a cross-functional team, including SAP consultants, developers, and support staff, ensuring alignment with business objectives and that all members have the support they need to succeed.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships, including contract negotiation, compliance, and performance oversight.
- Oversee SAP service financials, including budgeting, cost optimization, and reporting, ensuring efficient resource use and cost control.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to SAP delivery and ensure compliance with data security, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
- Understand and ensure compliance with Audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
- Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.
