JOB SUMMARY: The Sr Director of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying and executing new strategic partnerships that support the company's long-term growth strategy. This role involves cultivating and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our organizational goals. This individual is a business and functional expert with strong analytical skills and experience managing multiple projects and outside relationships with companies and intermediaries. Creative financial, market and operational analysis, independent thought, and a proactive approach to adding value to the organization are key elements of this position.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Development:
o Define and execute the partnership strategy aligned with company's growth objectives.
o Identify and evaluate potential partners to expand our reach and enhance offerings.
o Entrench the use of decision-making tools and processes that support the evaluation of partnership opportunities by the product investment committee and key leadership
2. Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for partner communications and negotiations.
3. Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development) to create integrated partnership initiatives.
o Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution of partnership programs.
4. Performance Monitoring:
o Establish metrics to evaluate partnership effectiveness and ensure alignment with business goals.
o Analyze market trends and partner performance to inform strategic decisions.
5. Leadership:
o Lead a team of cross-functional partnership managers, providing mentorship and guidance to drive performance.
o Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the partnerships team.
6. Negotiation and Contracts:
o Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
o Manage the ongoing contractual obligations and relationship management processes.
7. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
8. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
The role requires a strategic thinker who can independently design and implement state-level advocacy programs and business development efforts that address policy threats and opportunities, primarily at the state level. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver targeted advocacy and develop new business opportunities. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $175-180K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related area.
* Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships.
* Strong analytical skills and experience in performance metrics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong skills in crafting persuasive, data-driven advocacy communications for internal and external audiences.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
* Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
