Job Requirements of Tech Lead (Full Stack – Java/React/Cloud):
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum Bachelor's degree and 10 years' progressive software systems programming experience at least five of which should involve experience utilizing Java/JEE technologies. Master's degree in a relevant/related field is a significant plus and is strongly preferred.
- Must have 10+ years of full stack development experience with Java, React, and Spring framework. JavaScript libraries and frameworks like Angular, BootStrap and JQuery.
- Must have experience with Cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure)
- Leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, and communication (written, verbal and listening) skills.
- Planning, organizing, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Server Side JavaScript using NodeJS & Express is a significant plus.
- Experience with Advanced Java concepts
- Experience with Micro-Services, Service-Mesh, Kafka and API Gateway
- Detailed knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Understanding of multi-tier distributed software architectures, concurrent programming concepts, and multi-threaded applications.
- Hands on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with building & consuming REST and SOAP based Web Services
- Nice to have
- Experience in Agile environment
- Knowledge of caching technologies and event driven architectures
- Experience with advanced XML technologies and API's such as XSD, XSLT, (XQuery, and XPath desired).
- Experience with TDD and BDD test automation using JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin
- Knowledge of process stabilization, performance analysis, code optimization and testing of web application and data-engineering products.
- Knowledge of health care claims and health insurance industry preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assess ramification of issues and prioritize tasks based on business impact
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients
- Ability to evaluate production situations and current information to determine the appropriate course of action and execute decisions

JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for leveraging expertise across multiple areas for the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems, and is recognized as a technical leader and resource.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with Software Architects to determine application architecture and design direction to meet business goals.
2. Provide technical leadership to Programmer Analysts in a variety of duties including data design, coding, test, technical design, development, and troubleshooting.
3. Serve as lead developer for one of the Company’s systems; e.g., eRepricer, eProvider, MP3.
4. Perform ongoing system development and maintenance.
5. Recommend enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
6. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
9. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent relies on in-depth knowledge and experience in one of the Company’s applications or a breadth of knowledge and experience across multiple applications to plan and accomplish goals. The incumbent works under general supervision and relies on independent judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent acts as a resource for Programmer Analysts and must be able to demonstrate leadership skills. Work is varied and complex.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is 140k-155k. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
