Software Engineer II - Python (REMOTE)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Software Engineer II is an individual contributed and primarily back-end developer on an Agile team who is primarily responsible for defining and building software in support of one or more business products. Join our new high visibility team on AutoFlow project that focuses on automating existing business processes using AI, Machine Learning, RPA, Advanced Algorithms and Cloud computing. Job role and responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation strategies to optimize business processes and enhance productivity

  • Responsible for producing stable and high performing applications

  • Work in Agile methodologies and contribute toward the entire lifecycle of a user story with particular emphasis on coding, unit testing and deployment pipeline automation

  • Work with other developers on the team to define high level technical design and follow overall architectural guidelines

  • Research and learn new technologies and processes as part of continuous improvement 

  • Contribute towards fostering a high performant and self organized team

  • Clearly communicate potential and real issues to the team and propose solutions to resolve them

  • Be a champion of Claritev core culture; ACTS – (Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Team work and Service Excellence)

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Must have 3+ years software development experience in Python (Flask).
  • TDD (Unit & Integration tests)

  • Microservices

  • Event driven architecture

  • SQL & NoSQL Databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.)

  • CI/CD pipelines, Containerization (Docker)

  • Problem solving & analytics skills 

  • Courage to learn new programming languages and technologies

  • Computer related Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in software development
  • Experience in following is preferred:

    • automation of business processes 

    • utilizing Cloud services (Azure/AWS)

    • SaaS development

    • RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

    • Java

    • Extreme Programming (XP) experience including Pair Programming

    • communication between On-prem and Cloud

    • API Gateways

    • Application security

    • HTML/CSS/JavaScript

    • Development in devcontainers

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $110K to $120K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
