Technical Team Lead

JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for leveraging expertise across multiple areas for the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems, and is recognized as a technical leader and resource.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with Software Architects to determine application architecture and design direction to meet business goals.

2. Provide technical leadership to Programmer Analysts in a variety of duties including data design, coding, test, technical design, development, and troubleshooting.

3. Serve as lead developer for one of the Company’s systems; e.g., eRepricer, eProvider, MP3.

4. Perform ongoing system development and maintenance.

5. Recommend enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

6. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.

7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

9. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:

The incumbent relies on in-depth knowledge and experience in one of the Company’s applications or a breadth of knowledge and experience across multiple applications to plan and accomplish goals. The incumbent works under general supervision and relies on independent judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent acts as a resource for Programmer Analysts and must be able to demonstrate leadership skills. Work is varied and complex.

The salary range for this position is 150k-$160k . Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or HS Diploma and 4 years of related experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in Java/Object Oriented development, including experience across several Java technologies (e.g. Swing, Java Server pages, Servelets, and Enterprise Java Beans) required.

• Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable

• Knowledge in SQL/Oracle required

• Knowledge in Unix preferred

• Knowledge in the Healthcare industry preferred

• Leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, and communication (written, verbal and listening) skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Ability to use hardware, software, and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Office
