Software Engineer II (hybrid in Boston)

JOB SUMMARY:  We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join us in building the next generation data analytics platform and maintaining the existing products and services used by thousands of companies. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in Beford, MA or Naperville, IL office twice a week!

 

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Research, construct, develop, and test computer application software or systems.
  2. Analyze users’ needs and design software as necessary.
  3. Maintain computer applications software and systems and debug as problems arise.
  4. Evaluate new and existing software to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
  5. Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organization to achieve timely results.
  6. Consult with customers on project status and advise customer about technical issues.
  7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  9. Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.
  10. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data – this role is considered to be a High Risk Role.

 JOB SCOPE:

You will work under supervision to construct and develop somewhat complex programming systems to support customers’ application systems, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work is varied with moderate complexity, requiring a moderate level of independent judgment within established guidelines.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $115K to $125K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training): 

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in ReactJS and front-end development experience.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in Java or Python and associated libraries. 
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in SQL.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in on cloud technologies and Kubernetes. Strong experience in CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
  • Proven success building and maintaining large-scale production applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and high performance in real-world environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in office.
