This is a hybrid role sitting 3 days per week in our Aurora, IL data center, 2 days per week at home.


 


 


JOB SUMMARY; System Administrator ll Windows and Datacenter: Responsible for datacenter support, hardware support, system administration, software application support, business analysis, application optimization, solution design and end user support. This role also supports ongoing project initiatives and implementations as needed.


 


JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Provide 24x7 advanced level escalation point of contact for all datacenter and infrastructure Systems.

  2. Design, build and support Infrastructure Datacenter systems and software and create supporting documentation.

  3. Able to achieve advanced understanding and support for VMWare enterprise systems, clusters, high availability and datacenter disaster recovery failover. Includes support for VM guest systems running on corporate host clusters such as Windows, Linux, virtual switches, VMWare management appliances and others. MultiPlan’s infrastructure runs 98% virtualized, understanding this architecture is key to projects and RTB support.

  4. Able to achieve advanced understanding and support for Windows OS, file shares, DFS, IIS, security certificates, windows cluster, SQL, Citrix, Exchange, Teams, One Drive, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, RightFax, Zerto, VRealize, DRS, IP addressing, and others as required. – Include NIST hardening and security best practices

  5. Assist with environment governance and release management as key lead or contributor during upgrades, releases, testing, change management activities, and change deployments across environments. Understand and follow SDLC and change management processes.

  6. Collaborate closely with business, developers, vendors, and infrastructure team members to analyze, troubleshoot and solve complex issues.

  7. Fully understand and enforce MultiPlan’s SOP in relation to, but not limited to, security and audit standards. Maintain and monitor compliance to corporate security policies.

  8. Advanced project support for software platforms and systems, including written project documentation.

  9. Understand, execute and automate asset management and version tracking for applications, software, physical and virtual systems.

  10. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

  11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

  12. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:


The incumbent works independently with some direction to complete job responsibilities. Collaboration and knowledge share required. Work requires a broad range of knowledge gained through experience, work is varied and complex, and requires independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems, and recommend action plans, evaluate results, and present to management in a timely manner. The incumbent works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decision and taking action.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training)



  • Minimum Bachelor's degree; or HS Diploma and 4 years of related experience (Combination of experience and/or appropriate Certifications).

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar supporting role.

  • 4 years’ experience and understanding of Windows OS, file shares, DFS, IIS, security certificates, windows clustering, IP addressing, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, Office 365, DNS, SQL, Citrix, SharePoint, RightFax, File system security and other components of enterprise level directory services.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience or equivalent training for VMWare support for enterprise level configurations. Work experience and understanding basics for VMware clusters, V-Motion, DRS automation, reporting and other functions.

  • Experience in supporting 24x7 on-call enterprise class data center environments.

  • Communication (written, verbal and listening), problem-solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal, technical, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Advanced project and time management skills required

  • Ability to lift, move and carry 50 lbs.

  • Ability to manage individual and project timelines to meet deliverable dates.

  • Ability to understand, follow and create system security, file security, SOP and policy standards.

  • Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone
